NovaTeinBio is a biological reagents provider located in the greater Boston area. Our scientific team is a group of scientists with extensive experience and expertise in protein biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology. We offer our own recombinant proteins, antibodies, ELISA kits as well as distributing products from other suppliers. Our products cover a growing variety of ELISA kits, proteins, peptides, antibody products. In the meantime, we provide best services in the area of expression vector cloning, protein expression, protein purification, etc.

Currently, NovaTeinBio is growing rapidly. Our excellent facilities allow us to effectively implement and fully develop any program we adopt. Anticipating early commercialization of our biological reagents products, we are currently planning new infrastructure. We are working to change the future of research and development.


Immunoassay Reagents Sales Representative (Full-time/ Part-time)   Post:10-08-15

NovaTein Biosciences is a rapidly growing biological reagents company that specializes in the production and supply of immunoassay kits, reagents, proteins and assay development services to researchers worldwide. We supply more than 10,000 different types of proteins and antibodies, and have one of the richest supplies of validated ELISA kits.  

NovateinBio is inviting applications for Sales Support position, full-time or part-time. We are looking for entrepreneurial, dynamic, competitive, over-achieving sales associates with the ability to close business and drive accelerated growth. This role is ideal for independent sales professionals with an existing client –base in North America (University/ Industry) for a different product line OR for researchers with knowledge of local accounts and customers in immunology field, who are looking for alternate careers in biotech and add extra source of income.  

Note: This is a 100% "commission only” position with uncapped earning potential  


Promoting the sale of diverse reagent products including but not limited to: Proteins, Antibodies, ELISA kits, Reagents etc. 

Managing customer information in CRM and communicating the customer interaction to the Manager at regular intervals 

Assist in the implementation of marketing plans and build brand awareness  

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned 

Minimum Requirements: 

B.S. / M.S. / Ph.D. in life sciences with experience in antibody based applications like ELISA, western blot, flow cytometry and IHC 

Customer focused- friendly, positive, self-motivated, and a good team player 

Effective written and verbal communication skills. Enjoys talking to researchers about new/ existing products/ technologies 

Keen attention to detail, takes initiative and follows up on work appropriately 

Experienced and comfortable using computers and software programs, must be comfortable with MS office. 

Individuals with firm knowledge of local accounts and customers are preferred.

Required education:

Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or Market Research with 6 months of internship or employment experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or Market Research with 5 years of progressive employment experience and 6 additional months of internship or employment experience.

The duties of the position of Marketing Analyst are as follows:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive and detailed marketing strategy for NovaTein Bio’s product line and worldwide distribution services by analyzing NovaTein Bio’s current market and conducting research on prospective customers throughout the world. NovaTein Bio focuses on immunoassay kits, proteins and assay development services;
  • Work with laboratory scientists regarding the promotion of NovaTein Bio’s product line as part of the development of the marketing strategy;
  • Identify and research NovaTein Bio’s major competitors and industry leaders to evaluate their operations and methods;
  • Draft and finalize proposals to be presented to the President of the company on how to increase sales through new and recurring marketing campaigns as part of the marketing strategy;
  • Develop, execute, and manage these print and digital marketing campaigns, including using online marketing tools such as Google Adwords and Google Analytics;
  • Design presentations for biological conferences and trade shows to share NovaTein Bio’s products to its potential customers in the Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, and Histology industries, including global laboratories’ supply and distribution companies, and other non-profit bioscience organizations;
  • Develop and implement “Search Engine Optimization” (SEO) for NovaTein Bio’s web presence;
  • Conduct email marketing as part of marketing strategy, using HTML to draft email campaigns.

Immunology/Immunoassay Scientist (Job code: NVI-201)

Novatein Biosciences assists customers in rapidly developing, manufacturing and commercializing ELISA assays for many market segments. We develop products for markets as broad as biomedical research and microbiology and operate under design controls and GMP as required.

We are seeking a Scientist who will be responsible for research and development of products from feasibility through clinical trials and transfer to manufacturing. This position will collaborate with outside chemistry, engineering and manufacturing groups to research and develop markers, reagents, formulations and processes.


Will collaborate with outside chemistry, engineering and manufacturing groups to research and develop markers, reagents, formulations and processes. Requires a highly motivated scientist with project management experience and an outstanding ability to design and conduct robust and efficient experiments to solve difficult technical problems. The ability to work independently and oversee the work of 1-2 research assistants is desired. The position requires the ability to work accurately, efficiently and swiftly in a small, fast-paced lab. Candidate must have a strong desire to bring products to market. MS or BS in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years related work experience. Experience with fluorescence-based immunoassays like TR-FRET and FP is required.

Protein Production Specialist (Job code: NVP-103)


We are seeking candidates for a scientist-level position in our Protein Production group. This position will utilize existing high-throughput technologies for cloning, protein expression and purification. The successful candidate will also develop new technologies within the group, including methods for HT antibody purification. Consistent, proven ability to generate creative solutions for existing and new development projects is highly preferred.

Required skills:

M.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related life science field with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.

Expertise in PCR, molecular cloning, sequence analysis and expression/purification in both microbial and mammalian systems.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
