Description TP53I3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 352 amino acids (1-332 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 37.6 kDa. TP53I3 protein is fused to a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus and is purified by standard chromatography.
Protein Background TP53I3 participates in the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). TP53I3 has low NADPH-dependent naphtoquinone reductase activity, with a preference for 1,2-naphtoquinone over 1,4-naphtoquinone. TP53I3 has low NADPH-dependent diamine reductase activity (in vitro). TP53I3 is localized to the cytoplasm and induced in primary, non-transformed and transformed cell cultures after exposure to genotoxic agents. TP53I3 microsatellite polymorphism is associated with differential susceptibility to cancer.
Expression host Escherichia Coli.
Synonyms TP53I3, PIG3, Quinone Oxidoreductase, tumor protein p53 inducible protein 3.
Reagent Appearance Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Stability TP53I3 Human although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
