Description WIBG Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 212 amino acids (1-204 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 23.7 kDa. The WIBG is fused to 8 amino acid His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Protein Background WIBG is a cooperateing partner of Mago-Y14. The Mago-Y14 heterodimer is a key protein of the EJC(exon junction complex) that is deposited on mRNAs as a consequence of splicing and influences postsplicing mRNA metabolism. WIBG is a cytoplasmic RNA-binding protein that is excluded from the nucleus by Crm1. WIBG relates directly with Mago-Y14 by means of its N-terminal domain.
Expression host Escherichia Coli.
Synonyms PYM, Partner of Y14 and mago, MGC13064, WIBG, BCGN Homolog, Protein wibg homolog.
Reagent Appearance Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Stability WIBG Human although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
