Applications Western blot with SLE sera (secondary Sjogrens syndrome).
Description TROVE2 is a natural protein having a molecular mass of 60kDa. TROVE2 is purified from bovine tissues by protein-chemical methods.
Protein Background Ro 60 kDa autoantigen is an RNA-binding protein that binds to several small cytoplasmic RNA molecules known as Y RNAs. SSA2 may stabilize these RNAs from degradation. Sera taken from patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) often contains antibodies that react with the normal cellular SSA2 protein as if this antigen was foreign.
Expression host Bovine tissues.
Synonyms 60 kDa SS-A/Ro ribonucleoprotein, 60 kDa ribonucleoprotein Ro, RoRNP, 60 kDa Ro protein, Ro 60 kDa autoantigen, TROVE domain family member 2, Sjoegren syndrome type A antigen, SS-A, Sjoegren syndrome antigen A2, TROVE2, RO60, SSA2, RO-60.
Storage Conditions Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Coating concentration 0.2-0.6 ug/ml (depending on the type of ELISA plate and coating buffer). Suitable for biotinylation and iodination.
