| Assay principle | This assay employs indirect sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect DF IgG/IgM in the samples. Purified dengue virus antigens are precoated in microplate wells. The test samples are incubated in the wells. The DF IgG/IgM in the sample, if presents, will bind to the dengue virus antigens. Following washing, the anti-human IgG/IgM-HRP conjugate is added into the tested wells. After incubation and washing procedures to remove unbound substances, this reaction is visualized by the addition of the chromogen tetramethylbenzidine (TMB). Addition of acidic stop solution will terminate the reaction and turn the blue color to yellow. What can be measured at this point is the amount of color intensity proportional to the amount of DF IgG/IgM captured in the wells, and to the sample. |

This kit is used to qualitatively detect Dengue Fever IgG/IgM in human serum.
Materials supplied
1 Microelisa Stripplate precoated with dengue antigens 1x96 well.
2. Negative Control (diluted negative human serum) 1.5 mL X 1.
3 Positive Control (diluted positive human serum) 1.5 mL X 1.
